TeamBuild has been very active this summer and has managed to secure future contacts that will continue to see us busy, well into next year. Our commitment to being client focused continues to serve us well. We have been fortunate in securing projects ranging from a 16,000 square foot new build storage facility in Blyth, Northumberland to a refurbishment of a listed building in the heart of Newcastle's Quayside.

Industrial Sector:

Bryce Wood & McKeown StorageFacility in Blyth Northumberland

This £1M design and build contract has been designed to meet the exacting standards necessary to meet Cleardata's requirements for long-term storage of sensitive data secure for many years tocome. Cleardata is one of the UK's number one document and scanning bureaus.

Domestic Sector:

Team Build has also been busy on the domestic front carrying out extensions and alterations to properties in Jesmond, Gosforth, Forest Hall, Blyth and Sunderland.

We have recently completed a bespoke new build garage block complete with leisure room in Northumberland (see photos below).

Commercial Sector:

The commercial sector remains buoyant for us and Team Build has carried out refurbishment works in many areas across the region. We continue to work with many of the major players in this sector. Refurbishment of the Coronation Building, in the heart of Newcastle Quayside, has given this Grade 2 listed building a new lease of life (see below photo). Team Build has also secured several contracts for Rentokil Initial, which has three thousand properties nationwide. This partnership has seen Team Build carry out projects for this blue chip company far beyond our region's borders. Our workforce has fared well learning new languages that are necessary once we cross the borders into Scotland!

Craigielea Nursing Home

We have also recently completed one of our more trickier projects in Low Fell Gateshead, where we added a further five bedrooms to the Craigielea Nursing Home.  The additional bedrooms were constructed on top of the existing two storey structure which just happened to have the residents below throughout the build process.  Fortunately with good planning, a very good design team and of equal importance a very understanding Client the project was completed successfully to a very high standard.  Please see some of progress photos below. More details are available on our section on e-brochures,Commercial, Craigielea.

New Projects

We have been successfull in securing a variety of projects ranging in value from several thousand to £600K.  The projects cover our broad range of experience such as a new 16,000 square foot industrial unit to Office refurbishments.

Team Build Braves The Recession!

Despite the downturn in workload for the Country and particular the construction sector we are delighted to announce that we have been successful in securing our future workload.

It appears that our strategy of working in all sectors of the industry from new build to refurbishments for a variety of Clients is paying off in these most difficult of times.

We have recently been awarded a commercial project to provide accommodation for War Veterans in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne.  This vital project for our War Veterans is a project we at Team Build Construction are extremely proud to be involved with.  For further information please logon to below.

The works have commenced on site and should be ready to accommodate our war veterans in approximately three months.

We are also about to commence a new extension to a Nursing Home in Low Fell Gateshead.  This commercial work involves the addition of a new storey to part of the residential accommodation.  This is a complex project that requires Team Build to add a third storey to the existing two storey structure whilst maintaining the water tightness and comfort of the residents who are to remain in-situ throughout the works.  We are hoping for a very dry summer!

Several smaller, but no less important, projects we have secured for our domestic clients involve the construction of extensions.  There seems to be a prevalence for the removal of conservatories and constructing sunrooms at present which we have a great deal of experience and our Clients are reaping the benefits.

We have also been successful also in securing further works in the Industrial sector with alterations and refurbishments on the Team Valley, Gateshead.

In Conclusion, Team Build are very optimistic about what the future holds and are very much in business and continue to welcome new business whatever the sector!
