Beamish Museum Bus depot
This project consisted of the design and construction of a steel framed, brick skinned 1950’s style Bus Depot with a cement sheet corrugated roof with a change of floor levels from one end of the building to the other.
The westerly end consists of a workshop and the east remaining area is a simple garaging area for up to 10 buses.
The workshop is fitted with two pits for underside access for vehicles, a discrete workshop enclosure and space for a car lift, along with a public viewing gallery, accessed from the main garage area.
