Brad, Dan, Alex, John and Nicola thoroughly enjoyed their school lunch at Swansfield Park Primary School. The children had an opportunity to ask the team questions on what it’s really like to work in the construction industry. There were one or two budding engineers keen to hear about the equipment that is being used on their school site. A piling rig being the newest piece of equipment to arrive.
Foundation and ground works are well underway within the school site which is receiving a single storey 490 metre squared extension as part Northumberland County Council, Alnwick Schools Reorganisation Programme. The school will be receiving additional learning space including four class room’s, library space and a studio area. The pupils learning will be extended to the outdoors with a new playground included in the scheme.
