Following a competitive tender process, we are delighted to have been awarded six schools projects by Northumberland County Council value circa £4 million. The projects focus on the expansion and refurbishment of 6 existing schools located in the Alnwick area. They include;
- Hipsburn First School
- Seahouses First School
- Shilbottle First School
- Swansfield Park First School
- Ellingham Church of England Aided First School
- Whittingham Church of England Aided First School
The improvements we are making are part of the Alnwick Partnership reorganisation, supporting the changes from a three tier to a two tier school system . The First schools will become primary schools supporting pupils from early years / nursery through to key stage 4.
We will be working closely with the schools, Northumberland County Council & the project managers Faithful & Gould, to ensure the works are completed for the new academic year in September 2016.
